Join us for an evening of Television!
AWP is happy to host a screening of FX's new series English Teacher!
Join us on September 3rd at 6:30pm for photo ops, a screening, and a panel discussion with some of the cast! Including AWP student Scarlette Amber Hernandez who is a Recurring Co-Star on the show!
Scarlette Amber Hernandez, born in Anchorage Alaska has been performing since she was a little girl but started taking acting serious when she was a junior in high school. After she did her first play, Almost Maine, acting was something she knew she wanted to do. After she graduated high school she started training at Atlanta Workshop Players that's when everything changed for her. Scarlette has done many short films In-Between, Lights, Camera, Hijinks, 10-101, and High-Water Hero. She is now waiting for her television debut on FX's English Teacher and Prime's The Runarounds.
Scarlette has always been the class clown and is always wanting to put smiles on peoples faces, despite people always calling her weird and awkward she has found her strength in being unique. She wants to make a difference in the world by telling people that you can do whatever you put your mind too even if that means you're doing it by yourself. Fun fact: she got a curtain blind dowel stuck to her uvula once.
