Celebrate 40 Years Producing Socially Responsible Performing Arts

40 years of watching tens of thousands of amazing, brilliant kids evolve into socially responsible citizens of the world…and that is exactly what they are doing! Using their “ART” for good! I (Lynn Stallings, Executive Director) learned A long time ago that if you can teach people to hate, you can certainly teach people to love…So that is what AWP set out to do 40 years ago and we will never Stop. This amazing journey goes forth! The ripple effect is real. Send the “Awesome“ out and it will ripple into a multitude of lives!
The Reunion weekend will gather AWP alumni: TV/Film Personalities, Network Executives, Casting Directors, Agents, Producers and Directors and Friends together to reminisce and celebrate a very special, shared time of life. The celebration will honor AWP’s new partners in creativity and children’s causes and to raise funds to make it possible for thousands more to experience the performing arts in a joyful, non-competitive, meaningful, socially conscious way through scholarships and powerful productions. Celebrating ‘Art With A Purpose’!
Gather to celebrate the profound impact The Atlanta Workshop Players has had on a multitude of lives and to raise awareness and the necessary funds to continue and expand this powerful work.
The 40th Reunion event is to reconnect with old friends and celebrate AWP by raising funds and paving the way for future generations to experience the magic of AWP. Your donations and purchases of tickets, add-ons and auction items ALL support AWP creating a positive impact!

Alumni Improv & Cabaret Show

AWP Alum will take the stage to entertain! Desserts, Spirits and reconnect with AWPeeps!
3-5pm Sunday, August 1st, 2021
Tweens/Teens Dance Party. DJ, Games, Party Favors, Pizza, Munchies & Fun
Please note that all events are subject to change per the most current CDC guidelines at the time of the reunion events. In the unlikely event that the festivities are cancelled due to the pandemic, AWP will create a credit balance for you to use at future events: virtual OR in-person.
COVID-Safe guidelines, as defined in July 2021, will be followed at the event. This may include wearing masks and a negative COVID-19 test OR proof of full vaccination for in-person celebrations. AWP will also be doing temperature checks at the door.
