25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
Performances are live in person. We will be following strict safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for audience members, cast and crew. There is a strict audience limit so buy your tickets NOW so you don't risk missing this performance! Audience members will be seated in pods 6 feet away from each other. Pods will be based on ticket purchase so if you purchase tickets for your whole family at once, you will be seated together.
Masks MUST be worn at all times. Please refrain from eating during the performance, even if you are given delicious treats by one of our spellers. Please save them for the car ride home when you have washed and sanitized your hands and can safely remove your mask.
All performers will be tested prior to performance and/or are already fully vaccinated.
